What good news, there are now 31 Paradores where dogs are welcome, although with restrictions. We are sure that for many doggy humans this will be the beginning of new adventures and excursions with their dogs. We hope that the list will soon be expanded and, above all, we hope that soon the restrictions can be removed so that all dogs can enjoy with their families.

It is a step in the right direction, making life with a dog easier for many, although not for everyone, since there are a few restrictions as you may have noticed, no large dogs and you can’t stay if your dog is one of the breeds that have been classified as potentially dangerous. And you can’t stay, normally, in the common areas inside the Paradors.

Disfrute de los lugares más espectaculares, los edificios monumentales más interesantes y los platos regionales más sabrosos en uno de los 97 Paradores de España. Cada vez son más los hoteles que admiten mascotas.

Los Paradores se encuentran siempre en edificios de interés histórico como palacios, monasterios, castillos o fortalezas. También se encuentran en lugares especiales. El Estado español es el propietario de la cadena, cuyo objetivo es restaurar el patrimonio histórico y artístico y preservarlo para las generaciones futuras.

El número de locales que admiten mascotas se ha ampliado de 21 a 31. Además, los amigos de cuatro patas de los clientes también recibirán un cuenco y una ración de comida, gracias a un acuerdo que Paradores ha alcanzado con la marca Royal Canin.

Óscar López, presidente de Paradores, explicó que la cadena intenta adaptarse constantemente a las necesidades de sus clientes. Reconoce que a muchos de ellos les gusta viajar con su perro o gato. López incluso califica las vacaciones con mascotas de “turismo en auge”.

Las 10 nuevas propiedades de Paradores que aceptan mascotas son:  Manzanares (Ciudad Real); Málaga Golf; Vic Sau (Barcelona); Benavente (Zamora); Tui (Pontevedra); Ceuta; Guadalupe (Cáceres); Melilla; Zafra (Badajoz); Tordesilla’s (Valladolid).
